This was our first service visit to Jim Hudson Toyota and we weren't disappointed. Though over an hour drive from our home (with 2 other Toyota dealers closer), it was worth the drive to get the superior service that we appreciate. Our service advisor (Isaac) kept us informed of the state of repairs and was very knowledgeable. We will be back for future service, as well as any Toyota product purchases.
UPDATE: After the negative review, I was finally called for the repair. I have driven the vehicle with no incident since the repair was completed on 01/08/2025. Still waiting after nearly a month for a purge valve that they said would be covered after they replaced the fuel pump and the check engine light came back in after 2 days. Meanwhile the location in Spartanburg had the piece in a few days. Problem with that is I would have to pay because the fuel pump was done at a different Toyota service location.
Service advisor lady (echo) was very helpful and patient with my service questions and will definately be using them for anything I need with my Tundra.
I worked with Erica, one of the sales representatives at Jim Hudson Toyota, and my whole experience was very wonderful. Despite the long distance between us - South Carolina to Chicago -, Erica was very consistent with me, she addressed my concerns and answered my questions ON TIME. Erica informed me when my car came and sent me some pictures of the car per my requests. She understood my fears and worked closely with me. We made an arrangement, I went to SC from Chicago. To be honest, when you get to Jim Hudson Toyota, you will be humble how big the place is and all shorts of brand new cars spread all over the place. I knew I was at the right place. I don;t care anymore about the distance covered from Chicago to SC. Erica was there already waiting for me with documents to signs, she showed me my car and...I was impressed. The whole staffs over there are very friendly.
My wife and I had our 2006 Lexus GX 470 extensively restored at Jim Hudson Toyota. Our world-class service advisor was (and is) Barret Anderson, who scores top marks for knowledge, attention to detail, customer service, and exceptional follow-up after the work was performed. We are delighted to report our GX 470 now literally drives like-new, and we should know, since we previously owned a new one! Thanks to the entire team at JH Toyota:-)!

I had an outstanding experience with Koty Zuroweste at the dealership, and I can’t thank him enough for going above and beyond to assist me. I was struggling to remove the hitch cover on my Sequoia and couldn’t find a solution online. Although I didn’t have an appointment, I decided to stop by the dealership, hoping for some guidance. Koty was incredibly helpful, explaining that I simply needed a small screwdriver to remove the release pins. He was patient, understanding, and never made me feel rushed or less knowledgeable. Later that same day, I ran into an issue with the rear parking assist while trying to back up a cargo trailer. Since my experience with towing is limited, I was a bit overwhelmed when the emergency brake kept activating, even though the vehicle recognized I was towing a trailer. I called Koty, and he immediately offered to troubleshoot over the phone. When that didn’t resolve the issue, I asked if I could come by for further assistance, and Koty was quick to say yes. Upon arriving at the dealership, Koty came out to meet me as soon as I parked. He got into the vehicle, listened to the beeping noise, and confirmed that the emergency braking system was activating, even though he didn’t experience the same issue when backing up the trailer himself. He explained that in order to prevent the beeping and braking, the rear parking assist system needs to be manually turned off when towing. Koty even took the time to give me a brief tutorial on how to back the trailer properly, and he reassured me that I’d be able to do it on my own. Thanks to his guidance, I successfully backed the trailer at home, even though it took a few tries. Koty’s patience, expertise, and willingness to help were truly above expectations. I’m so grateful for his excellent customer service!

I really can’t imagine an easier car-buying experience. I have at least two Toyota dealerships closer to me, but the communication and service I got from Jim Hudson made it well worth the drive to buy from them. I was able to complete a good bit of the process over the phone, and even when there was a delay in the delivery of my designated vehicle, Tom gave me frequent updates and even stayed late to ensure it would be ready for me. In addition, the base price for my car was cheaper here than at other dealerships, so I felt confident that I was making a good financial decision, too. Definitely will not hesitate to shop here in the future.

We have been using Jim Hudson Toyota for service needs on our Toyota Sienna since we moved here in 2019. We had always been pleased with the level of customer service we received but only recently came to know it from a sales perspective. We had been looking to replace our Hyundai Sonata before it gave out of us and had been looking for 6 months to purchase a PreOwned vehicle and knew that we wanted to purchase through Jim Hudson given our previous positive experiences. We initially started working with Christopher. We laid out our plan and our needs and, unfortunately, were unable to find a vehicle that fit the criteria and our budge at that time. Fast forward to last week. I had been keeping an eye of inventory coming into the dealership and saw the vehicle we ended up purchasing. Christopher was quick to return my request (same day and within an hour) to come and see the vehicle, which we then proceeded to purchase. I did encounter some compatibility issues with our phone and the new vehicle, which after a great trouble shooting session over the phone with the service department, was advised to bring it in, as the vehicle likely needed some software updates. There were 9 in total and the dealership advised that these should have been taken care of before we purchased the vehicle and assured us we would not be charged. While waiting, I took some time to speak with the new Service manager, David, and he offered me some guidance with regard to body repair we were looking to have done on our Sienna. He was friendly, truthful, and exceedingly helpful. We would absolutely work with Jim Hudson Toyota again. At no point during the entire experience did we feel pressured or swindled into stepping outside our budget our charged for anything excessive.
